Please advise which are the best areas ... to buy a house in Calgary - considering well connected by transport, good public schools , place with nice surroundings and ofcourse nice neighbourhood.

The Northwest region, near the Walmart/Sears shopping centre's. It has a desi restaurant, a Guju grocery store as well as public schools. Avoid the North East. It is a hot bed of gangs and is the most crime prone area of Calgary (Desi Gangs of cos).. However, most desis prefer to stay in the North East...(the usual Ghetto mentality )
