I am going to get immigration shortly, we are six inclusive of me my spouse and four kinds of 16,14,9, 6 years. Can you please advice me how much minimum fund i nedded to surive for first 6 months. I am also planning to start some business after a short while, and thinking of Gas station or some store etc. would you please suggest me what would be best opportunity and in how muc amount I can get it.

Hi,

Most welcome!

You will need 9,000 CAD (1500 X 6) for initial six months, this is just minimum estimate but actual amount is depend on your lifestyle.

Canadian Government has child benifit scheme and you will get at least CAD 800 per month for your child, may be more!

Hi,

On landing Airport, they (immigration people) will give you some application forms including child banefits forms.

You can apply after getting you SIN cards (SIN will take 3 to 4 weeks), but Government calculate benifits on the day of your arrivals, dont worry.

You can also elligible for GST/HST rebate and this form also included in forms kit. You will have CAD 200 to 300 every quarter as GST/HST rebate.
