Again Asked for documents regarding change in Employment, Address, Education and Proof of Fund April 2004

After the submitting above documents I mailed CHC- Paris regarding my current status. The mail hold the following :

Dear Sir, Madam
Please be advised that your application for permanent residence in Canada is currently under processing at this office. You will receive in the next few months an invitation to attend an interview at our offices.
Hope this will be of assistance.

My question is as I have applied from the CHC-Paris which is other than the country i am living will I get visa for Paris on interview base.
Please Assist me how could i convience the Visa authority in India for getting Visa of France.
I have applied for myself, my wife and son for Canada, whether all of us have to attend the interview.
My wife had a visa stamp on her passport for UK but she did not migrate can this be of any help now for getting visa for france.
