It is surprising that they are making this demand in such a fashion. There seems to be different motive behind this movement.
Ironically, Patels have been the biggest supporters of Modi and BJP - how did this 22 year old unknown patel generate so much support within a span of 2-3 months??
I was expecting they demand Quota from US immigration - never expected they will agitate to be included as a backward class.. Has embarrassed a lot of Patels due to this...

If Patel's get the OBC reservation, then it will be the turn of the Bhramins to agitate for the BC reservation status.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
I see 2 possibilities -
1> Anti Modi Party/people/organizations want to uproot Modi and best place to start would be where Modi has strong base.
2> People supporting this are totally against reservation and they don't want any reservation for anybody.

Just have a 10 % reservation for General Class instead, rest is for others SC,ST,OBC..GC has become the new backward class.
What is there to be surprised of ?
Rioting is part of the lifestyle / strategy to achieve political stordom.
Ever watched a movie Hostel ( Part 2 I guess), you could draw parallel to it.
While in the rest of the world, sexual assault on women does exist, why the footprint is unique in India (Gang assault), its the reflection of the prevalent mentality, while the perpetrator stands to reap the benefit of this, the mob mostly reflects its deep rooted instincts...

Despicable.
May be, a good opportunity for Govt to ban any kind of reservation forever. Let few more communities ( jatian) simmer out ( which is eminent now ) and then take decision in wake of these incidents.
