Hello all
Further to my other post in regards to converting my ON license to BC license, since I don't have an address in BC, I was wondering if any of the fellow desis living in Vancouver/Victoria be kind enough to provide an address where the DL office can send my DL card to and then forward that to my adders in Washington. I know this might me asking for too much, but I thought I will give it a shot.
Cheers

Have you thought about getting a PO Box number? Not sure if ICBC sends the DL to the POBox though. You can enquire this. Once you receive your DL, come down to the lower mainland, pick up your DL, close your PO Box, and head straight South (in that order). Not sure how far you live in Washington, but in any case shouldn't take more than 2 hours (one way). I take it that you won't have your driving license at that time, you can take Greyhound then.
Another option is to convert your Ontario license straight to the Washington state. If you plan to live/work in WA then no use of having a BC license.
I don't think anyone would be interested to provide you their address due to the privacy concerns. Hope you can understand.
Good luck!
Thanks for your response Febpreet. I cant convert ON DL to WA DL as there is no agreement between ON and WA. The reason I would like to covert to BC DL is so that I can exchange BC DL to WA DL. I guess I will have to go through the written test and drive test in WA again.
A friend of ours were able to convert their WA license to NS license but unable to convert their NS one back to a WA one ..They had to take the test/s which was a breeze.

Thanks Fido.
May be, just call them and ask if they can send the DL to WA. If not, try going the PO Box route.
