During the pre-independence days whole nation stood together, again and again till the complete independence was achieved. Here after the initial Euphoria of Gandhism not many showed interest..either no one wanted lokpal or did not care.
A sad day for India! A man with clean image and clear vision is now buried deep under dirty politics along with his visions and hopes of corruptionless nation.

Even though India got independence in 1947, the Freedom Movement started 150 years earlier. This is going to be tougher and long drawn battle. The enemy is outside as well as inside each individual's mind in the form of jealous and greed to make big money in the shortest time and with minimum effort. The politicians and bureaucrats of India are only avatars of such greed and bad way of life. Add to this, globalization and we find people like Team Anna have to fight beyond our borders.
That Anna is a old, retired truck driver from the army with failing health. Ranged against him are the best Supreme Court legal brains like Kapil Sibal, Salman Kurshid, Chidambaram and others with access to the best medical care. Shame on them to defeat this old man and his team in as much treacherous ways.
Particular reference should be made against Chidambaram. In the nineties, he was against Congress alliance with Jayalalitha's AIADMK calling her corrupt and formed his own Tamil Manila Congress and allied with DMK. Today, he is defending or colluding with people like 2G Raja and he himself stands accused. May be he thinks public memory is short, but Divine Retribution from the very same Goddess Meenakshi he worships will catch up with him.
Now Team Anna must be careful and should not fall for the bait of entering politics. Just because the crocodile challenges, one doesn't enter water to fight them. These corrupt politicians are worse than ugly, obnoxious and cruel crocodiles.
Even in Dwapara Yuga, Lord Krishna could not directly defeat warriors like Bhishma and Drona and had to plan devious ways. This is Kali Yug and hence Team Anna should be like thorn in the flesh of these corrupt and defeat and topple them in elections in their weak moment, from the sidelines. Definitely they will get umpteen opportunities. If they could carry out such a plan on at least a dozen of these politicians, others will develop cold feet.
