Accordingly I have started writing in a blog, the first posting being about my initial application until the denial by Canadian Consulate General, Hong Kong due to misinterpretation of a simple sentence in a supporting document by the visa officer. In second one, I have written more about my life in general, especially about the 7 year struggle starting with the second application until the grant of visa by New Delhi Consulate and my landing thereafter. Incidentally, this website is more special to me since it is being developed and maintained by my young son, who immigrated with me to Toronto initially, and has now trying to establish himself as an independent web developer and content manager in Vancouver, BC.
This is my first attempt at publishing anything, not counting a joke which was published in Readers' Digest when I was 18. Hence, I would greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions about my posts in general, and my writing in particular.

wow ... it is a life time experience. It tells how determined you are ... you didn't let it go. You hung on it to get it. You have done a good job in documenting the details.
If you can add a page about your new life in Canada,likes, dislikes, perceptions, realities etc... it would be really interesting.
Very puzzling drive! Is Canada worth that much effort and time? I hope you are sittin' on top of the World. I wandered into Canada like a wayward soul and sat on a block of ice in Maritimes and am kinda stuck. Now and then, I keep wondering if I did the right thing; certainly not unhappy in my surroundings but Canada never figured that high in my expectations and certainly wouldn't have spent that much effort to reach the icebox. If you don't mind, let us know what great things happened since you moved here.

Wow.. that's a long inspirational journey sir. I wonder what made you to try this at 48? Did you feel emotions of 10 yrs when you first stepped in Canada?

Canada icebox ??? puzzling for me , what about the six months of pleasent summer ? Vancouver, Surrey is even better. Historically, Snow is only 4 months in a given year. This year its mid Jan and no snow.
Why this exaggeration ? Are you into habit of putting the things in negative perspective ??
I am here for only 1.5 years after 7 years of applying and wandering around the borders and Canada is worth every effort and little money I spent to come in here !! My Family is damn happy , They love it !! We compare it with our life in Switzerland few years back.
May be you do not know how to live life, you must be a loose muscle book worm side blind who doesnt see the things to enjoy !! Go back and be happy !

Exactly ! , its nothing to do with Canada being cold or icebox, Its individual perspective. Thanks for highlighting.
