Last week at Queens Park Dr. Bikram Lamba protested for some burning issues of the common people like Gas price and Auto Insurance in Ontario. He was on fast for four days. Somehow, this movement did not get an adequate response from the people from all communities. Even, media has also not covered this issue significantly.
Still the movement is going on and it should grow to such a big movement that govt. should be forced to respond. I think Dr. Lamba and Mr. Ranjit chauhan of radio program has taken a big initiative to start for a good cause and people from all the communities should respond to this positively. IMO, the movement should not be limited to cab and truck drivers as the issues are effecting almost everybody. Please look at the links and try to respond on this website

I absolutely agree. Provincial liberals under Mcguinty have been the worst for common people, though I doubt Hudak Conservatives would be any better. However, liberals have to be kicked out so they learn a lesson. Personally I believe that the mess created by provincial Liberals was largely responsible for Federal conservatives winning in Toronto and GTA.

There is no competition in Auto insurance. For example, I cannot take insurance for my car from USA where the rates are much lower. Unless the sector is opened up, rates would keep climbing.
