have a positive mind. if they fail nobody will forgive them.. and they are not going to stay there if they fail people.
till then be positive 
or, if you are soo down with the row of loses .. (i mean if you are a supporter of BJP) try to see if there is any way to bring up another ayodhya :P cause that is only thing that can save BJP

On one hand you are asking Simplysouth to be positive and on the other hand you are so negative that you have doubts about the existence of this forum. I am absolutely positive that not only this forum would be in existence after one year but would have more than 20000 members.
However, I can not say that for certainty about this government because of the 'infighting' which is going to take place between these 'secular' and 'not so power hungry ?' allies. Already there are rumours of Lalloo not being happy for getting proper representation in would be cabinet.
Dr. Manmohan Singh is a much better choice than Sonia (with due respect to her) to lead the country not beacause he is Indian by birth but because of his 'credentials'. I wish him good luck as that would mean that I am wishing good luck to my motherland as he is the captain of that ship now. Like Sonia, I also believe that the country is in 'good hands' and I also believe that it was also in 'good hands' earlier too.

sir you have taken me completely wrong
as a person maintaining similar forum i know pretty well the day-to-day problems with maintainig it. so, i dont know if i can still have access (atleast to view) to his post after one year.
not even minutely i think that something will happen to this site .. but the same cant be said about posts in forums. may be the person who is maintaining this forum know what i mean!

Thanks for the views in this forum. The success of the present dispensation in India depends on how the Prime Minister would counter the different forces which are inside cabinet viz Laloo, Telegana Regional Party, DMK, PMK, and powerful regional groups of his own party and the forces offering outside support viz Leftists, Mulayam and the in betweens like the NCP, Jan Lokshathi etc., This is going to be a tough ask.
I feel ideologically the Congress and the BJP though one is left of Center and the other is right of Center have occupied the complete middle to right of the political spectrum. They have a common interest in the continuation of reforms and both these parties should come an informal working arrangement if necessary share power. That way the leftist and the regional parties can be dumped.

Congress and BJP coming together..hmmm that may very well be a possibility. This will arise when the present govt eventually falls due to the tantrums of the Pathetic Leftists (the NDP of India ) and Shriman Laloo Yadav and co. !
It would be something like Likud and Labour in Israel !

I agree, there is a degree of fascination with "whiter" skin in India, not just white skin. And illiteracy has a lot to contribute to this ill, hopefully this will change over time. But the Mother Teresa example is pretty silly, I would rather the world know about India's poverty while someone is doing something about it instead of masking it and letting the poor suffer in silence.
In any case, with M.Singh at the helm, I am willing to give Congress a chance. IMHO, this govt. may not be very stable. But let's put it this way, if they fail miserably, they'll have paved the way for the BJP to return. And if they do good, I have no complaints.
I haven't been too impressed by their record in their past, but its time to wait and watch now.

walk through the leprocy ridden calcutta once. i am damn sure you never saw people in that pathetic condition! we dont take care of them.. and if some one, a non-indian has heart enough to come forward and take care, we say its a daag on our so-called image!
show me one baba or amma who can go to that extent to serve people.

you see people of polished india (i mean the people you want to project as indians) are very very less in percentage.
majority (over half) live in slums and poverty. may be you should think something you can do about them than sulking when someone point to you that foreigner mother theresa had to come to help them!
by the way, do you know that with the help of her missioneries and their dollars only india could claim complete eradication of leprocy atleast in some states?
