does anyone know how long does it take to get a usa entry visa waiver for a canadian citizen, a friend of mine has applied and its being 6 months but no reply from USA immigration normal time is around 6 months, any expert in this field can please throw some light on it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for ur response gurram, but this is a different situation, my friend has overstayed in USA for sometime so they had put a 10 year bar on him but the bar is over and he applied for the waiver in november and still waiting for a response, so how long does it take or any info in this case would be appreciated.
