Need help !
When I moved to the apartment Rogers offered us as a gesture free trial period for 6 months with home phone , internet and TV. Now 6 months are getting over when I have asked for their bundle cost they offered me 180 $ monthly and if I opt for a basics services , they are not costing me below 80$.
Whereas bell has offered me services for 98$ which rogers was offering for 180$.
When I asked Rogers either match the price or cancel my services they said you have 2 yr contract with us . I remember that I have not signed anything and nothing was confirmed over the phone . deal done with a sales representative who use to come to serve the apartments.
Now When I have asked to show me a proof of contract they are delay dallying the process. There call center sucks you have to wait for half an hour to someone to get through and then transfer of calls to other departments is a nightmare. I have to get it over with it before they start charging me .
Need help from Desis for the next step !!!
One ides is to get published in T star and G & Mail on harassment of new immigrants mentally & economically by the telecom giant.

Please be aware that there is no value of signature in Canada. Even if u give ur bank cheque to someone with anybody's signature it will go through. Bank tellers will not take a time to match ur signature.
In the contracts there is no importance of signature. Most (Almost all) Canadian companies do not understand that contract is a "Signed document agreed by both the parties"

If you have not signed the contract then you are the boss. Rogers can not do anything if they do not have a signed contract.
They have provided you 6 months of free service, so I think there would be a contract since they would recover their money over the length of the contract. You will have to check all the previous papers sent by Rogers and your bills. Unfortunately many companies do not mention about the contract until you specifically ask about it.

I don;t know what is the basis of your presumption ! If your signature does not match and you dispute the transaction , the money is credited back to your account immediately . Same applies for CC companies .

Did you sign anything with the sales representative?
Also the Bell's price you are quoting would be with contract+bundle price, ask them.
