I took a 2 hour lesson from an Instructor and was surprised to find how we develop bad habits with experience .... things that the instructor would look out for and which we may not even realize we miss in every day driving .... Salient features ..

a. Put a tab on speed ..
b. Always do shoulder checks when changing lanes / turning .. When reversing , turn your head around .
c. Watch through an intersection even when light is green .
d. Treat Amber as Red when turning right or left .
e. Accelerate to posted speed before merging .
f. Remain at Hwy speed when exiting till you see a yellow speed sign .
g. Keep sufficient distance when passing / changing lanes .
h. Don't roll the car at a stop sign .
