System Integration Tester ---

Our client is a global leader in software solutions for Automated Teller Machine and self-service terminals for the financial banking industry. As a member of the Professional Services team the individual will be required to review system requirements, create test plans, create test cases, develop data requirements, execute test cases and organize and present results.
OVERVIEW:
· Working closely with the development and management teams to foster successful releases
· Assist in the development and implementation of test documentation deliverables to ensure all software products meet organizational standards
· Proposing appropriate and creative solutions to problems discovered during testing
· Performance of Risk Analysis on systems and related defects to provide the business with information that will be used to make decisions about implementation
· Prepare test scripts which support scenarios identified in system requirements
· Provide test script trace-ability back to requirements
· Enter test scripts into test management tool
· Assist in validating unit test results , execute system tests and validate results
· Log defects and re-test code when applicable
· Support the testing effort through application deployment
· Assist the Test Lead with testing tasks whenever necessary
· Assist in integration and configuration
· Assist in joint integration testing onsite and locally

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Solid and hands-on experience in designing, developing and maintaining test plans, establishing test infrastructure, test automation
· Strong judgment and decision-making abilities, problem solving ability
· Work with minimal supervision, but know when to ask the right questions
· Must be analytical, detailed and team oriented
· Customer focused
· Strong understanding of software integration process & pitfalls
REQUIREMENTS:
· A University Degree in Math or Computer Science or equivalent experience
· 5 to 7 years Software Quality Assurance experience that includes manual testing, use of automation tools, and use of tracking tools
· A thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies
· Demonstrate expertise at test case, test script, and test plan development and execution
· Experience in Microsoft (including Word, excel, Powerpoint), Visio and Microsoft Project
· Demonstrate expertise at integration planning, testing and deploymen t

· Must be able to take initiative to get information, seek clarification, and elevate problems when necessary
· Must have strong communication and documentation skills.
