oh Canada, my experience , average immigrant/citizen in canada is not highly qualified and skilled they are not best of the best who instead choose America . If you read newspapers the girl for downfal of Elliot Spitzer or sandra bullok husband are white canadian , doing odd job in america is a norm . Pamela anderson is an icon, declassified british documents mention canadians to be mediocre ( please someone provide a link to it as i am posting it on my mobile )

Things may be little different these days but US attract world's best talent including Canadian. Best talent from IIT/AIIMS and other institutes land into US and lot of them directly come with student visa in top universities and research program. In general, Indians living in US has different kind of image than Indian living in Canada. In general (spell bee, science or IVY school enrolment) ABCD kids are doing better than Canadian born. I lived in US for very long time and I never seen US Indian kid’s involved in drugs/crime like Vancouver.

If you like competition, growth, more academic/education base opportunities, best education/universities, higher living standards and can landed into one of the high paying job than USA is best. US has one of the best healthcare system in the world if you and your employer can afford that.

Lot of immigrant who came to Canada never lived in USA and they got same image what here local average Canadian pride for – bash USA all the time ( guns, violence, healthcare, right wing moment, black/white, wall street) and prove that we are better if we compare bad part.

Is any one from Bihar get treatment in your hospital who do a odd job. We all immigrants not have Doctor's degree that we go back and work a reputed job. We just like a immigrant labour of Bihar. But we can get any treatment here in hospital which required , and I know in India I tried to get hospitalised my father and it take so much efforts, and after that there was strike in the hospital which known as PGI Chandigarh, for one month. At the age of 60 He died within six months when diagnosed Cancer.
