If someone is an Electrical Engineer and is working as a Software Engineer for 10 yrs , will he / she get a TN based on his experience ?

If not then , is it somehow possible that he shows employment initially in an electricity related job and later works in software with an understanding with the employer ?

There is no NAFTA approved occupation for a software engineer. The moment you say you are a programmer, they will show you the way out.

You have two options though... apply under Computer Systems Analyst... or Management Consultant, but both of these are scrutinized a lot.

This "understanding" would be illegal.
