Hello my fellow CDs.

Yet again, I turn to this invaluable wealth of information available on this forum for advice.

A friend of mine has been appointed for a job at the Toronto Pearson Airport. She has been told that she will have to try to get a TRANSPORT CANADA security clearance (which allows access to restricted areas of the Airport).

1. She is a PR having landed November 2007 ( 1 year and 3 months)
2. Prior to that, she was a Resident in Dubai for 11 years.
3. Police Clearance from Dubai was submitted to CIC before arrival in Canada.

My question is, will she be able to obtain it or not? Is it given only to those who are either Canadian citizens or fulfill Residency Requirements of 5 years in Canada?

Please help.

5 year stay in Canada is a pre condition for Transport Canada security condition Try your Luck. I am not too sure about it.
