Can anybody suggest me any business in Toronto from where I could earn extra $1000 per month on minimum investment of $5,000. If any idea we are couple I give evening time. My wife can give full day.

There are a number of options but the time tested and sure return is manual work. There is nothing that can give you better returns than working manual jobs.

Examples are :
working part time in UPS as baggage handler at $10.50 an hour for 4 hours a day (very hard job but easy to find)
Others is like working in some convenience store / gas station / restaurant for a few hours.
I have also known people doing the second job as a security guard. You get to sleep for a few hours / study in the job when it is night time duty.

Some other jobs are :
1. Filling out surveys over the internet for a small fee
2. Joining jobs like Primerica, selling RRSP, RESP where you can set your own time. You get a hefty commission for each sale.
3. Make some good that you are comfortable and then sell it to stores / ebay like pickles, Handicrafts
4. Get jobs which generate working from home (Like Swis Chalet taking take out customer orders on the phone and then entering them on the internet) and the like.
5. To do baby sitting at home
6. Tutions (dpending on your skills) Maths is in demand
7. Buying second hand stuff for throw away price and then cleaning it and then reselling it for a better price through Craigs list / Kijiji. I have seen that some people even give stuff out for free (new ones) provided your story / reason is right.
8. Selling tiffins from home. Vegetarian is in demand.

Regarding your question :
With the money that you have ($5000) it is almost impossible to generate a income of $1000 a month with it. Unless you are lucky with the lottery / stock market, you really canot do anything with $5000

If you have a sellable skill or hobby that you can utilise to generate the extra income. your best bet would be to look in craigslist, there is a section on part time services.

Hello there,
I was at the Airport yesterday to receive some family members from Terminal 3 and I found a part time job that could be done at the airport at your convenience.
The part time job is as follows :
Location : Arrival of Termainal 3
Job : Generally the Trolly's are taken by the passengers for $ 2. The refund for returning these carts back to the station (and there are many at diff. locations) is 25 cents. Generally most people who use the Trolly's donot put it back for a 25 cent refund and the carts are very plentifully scattered all across. In 10 mins. I put back 12 carts and Took $ 3. A quick glance showed me that atleast 100 trolly's were scattered ( $ 25 refund value).
It is difficult to move more than 3 carts at a time.

Sidenote : I paid $ 8 for parking for the 45 mins that I was at the airport. Hence it will be prudent for the person who is interested in doing this job to take the TTC to the airport.
