Friends,
I recieved letter from Canadian consulate to mail my passport for visa within 30 days and with it they have mentioned:
The document you submitted for birth certificate do not suffice. therefore, we require the following:
- A copy of the long form birth certificate
or
- Inlieu of a birth certificate:
- Proof that your birth was not registered
- A sworn affidavit ststing the birth details(place of birth,parents names,etc)
- Civil and/or educationaldocuments that support the details listed on your affidavit.
Since I am in canada on work permit, how can I provide document to proof that my birth certificate is not registered? Please advise and any input will be greatly appreciated.

Carry that letter that you received from the Immigration department.
See the people at the help Center, They will provide you with the proper mode of response.
You will have to swear in a statement that your birth in those years was not registered. In that you will have to provide the place of birth, your Parent's names and the place properly identified in the current map and with pin codes, if you can.
Also any other document such as entry in a school document, SSLC or the University graduation papers, that will have the year and date as noted in there. Or any other court document which will state that you are so and so and the son of or daughter of etc., and see if they have any dates recorded in them. Some times a court case or a inheritance certificate might have an entry. Even an entry in an almanac or a copy of an horoscope will do. They were meticulous in fabrication of an Horoscope in those days. Authenticate it at the Immigrant Help Center. The onus is on you to provide them with the proof and post haste.

Please contact them over the phone in Fort McMurray and see if they have any notarizing services to help you obtain the required document.

Some locations might not know what it is you are asking them and hence go to an area where they will understand the question and the the solution that you are seeking. Your letter will give them an idea and they can contact the Immigration offices of Government of Canada and get proper directions while you are there, over the phone.

10th grade certificate (SSLC) with date and place of birth mentioned had worked for me + a simple letter stating that I don't have a registered birth certificate.
