Hi to ALL CD's

i have posted this message to get some professional help or someone has already gone threw the similar situation

WHY NO CD'S REPLY ? this forum suppose to be helping people, i have seen many visitors just read and move forward without putting any comments...

WHERE IS ALL IMMIGRATION EXPERTS ?

this is really critical situation and need proper advise, can some please give us right guild lines.

HELP: the processing of this applicaton is curently on hold as your sponsr
My brother has sponsor his wife recently (got married FEB, 2008 in india), His wife get Quebec Selection letter two weeks ago, after week HIS WIFE RECEIVED THIS LETTER:

THE PROCESSING OF THIS APPLICATION IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD AS YOUR SPONSOR HAS BEEN REFERRED FOR INVESTIGATION THROUGH CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION CANADA

Based on the letter it will take minimum one year to process the file. This is just given time but it can take up to 2-3 years.

IS ANY BODY HAS SOLUTION OR ANY BODY KNOWS THE CAUSE OF THIS SITUATION.

He is legal married, has been here for almost three years and he is permanent residence with clear record.

Why would they send investigation on him?
Is there any solutions ?

Please let us know if any body can help or has suggestions

I think your case is an unusual one. I am hearing it for the first time. I think it is the same for many others.

Your brother should call CIC and ask them what kind of investigation they are pursuing. CIC may be able to explain little bit better than CDs speculating on this forum.

Before anything else ... seek answer from CIC on nature of investigation. Call them and find out.

Your brother's case is unique.
Normally CIC / Quebec immigration conducts frequent review of fraudant marriages done solely for the purpose of immigration. By some mistake your brother got suck into this audit / review.
Almost all the cases that I have heard is that if the CIC/ Quebec board is suspeious of the marriage, then they call the spouse for an Interview in New Delhi and then they put forth their questions regarding the marriage which the spouse has to answer and based on that they will decide if they can give the spouse a visa or else send a rejection letter. Recently, I heard on 1010 CFRB (AM Radio) that a team of investigators have been constituted by the Govt. of Canada to locally enquire about these marriages. May be this is as a result of this.
In the abcense of Mr. Massood and any CD who has gone through this situation, it is better for you to contact an immigration lawyer in Quebec. I am sure that the initial consultation would be free.
