hello friends ,
i have been frequenting this forum for quiet some time and find all your posts very helpful, actually its like a support for me in my decision and planning towards immigrating.
Friends i need some help... i have only a high school diploma and have been working in my family business in retail since 1998 full time , for the last six years i have been managing the store/business completely in and out , i am based in abu-dhabi uae.
I have been thinking to migrate, and was lucky to get get a job offered by an accompliance in canada who is exatly in the same field as i have experience in, he also got a positive AEO from HRDSC etc as a sales supervisor, NOC code 6211, now i am to file my immigration but am stuck at this point , i have been working here since 1999, my first visa was issued by the company here then, i started working as a sales rep. and thats what my visa says , however over these 10 years i gained enough training and experience and progressed.. i have been literally managing the store for last six years and all my duties are managerial´
My company is ready to acknowledge the fact and will provide me the letter of experience as a manager for 6 years , however my visa which has been regularly renewed every three years as required has always had the same job title as a sales rep...
i am really worried and scared how this will effect my application or wether sales rep being written on my work permit/visa here will be a matter for rejection of my case ...
friends i really reed your feedback on this ... please help guys .... seniors and experts please please oblige by advising with your experience ...

When Immgration office consider the work exp they clearly follow the rules .. for no of yrs they have fixed point like 4+ then 10 points. Nowhere they have mentioned if they consider job title as well. Once in Canada barbers & plubbers were really in demand (dnt know if still they are..
). So no matter whether someone is manager or sales rept they will give you 10 points for 10+ yrs of exp. Moreover they have catagories of type of jobs so may be even if someone who get a job of manager in Canada in Sales may be getting sales rept in his/her work permit.
So dont worry & be +ive.. Best wishes

I applied from Middle East and got immigration. I do not remember that I had to show visa copy anywhere as proof of my Profession / Designation. What you need to send to CHC, London is a service certificate from your employer. I think it is correct to indicate the position in which you are working actually.
