my experience..east european movers are good(specially russians or anyone form CIS countries)...they may cheat but in limit...unlike our desi's who want take every panny out of ur pocket

Hi All



We had people hire this company to pick up furniture. They gave them a price

over the phone

said there were no extra(hidden ) charges but when they had loaded the

furniture they told

them there was a $300 deposit and other charges which added up to nearly

$400-more than

twice what was quoted.

They were using bad language and went physical when opposed to dump furniture on the street.

I tried Igor yesterday (see previous posts for contact no.) . My experience was mixed - the guy is Russian has trouble with English and slightly arrogant .. can result in mis communication most times ...

If its a simple job from place A to B he is okay . Did nt break anything , loaded everyhing , unloaded everything , charged 50/hr + $50 for gas. Kept on grumbling . Could have provided the service with a smile . Did get a helper who was pretty fresh . I would rate him 4/10 . Did the job but I would not hire him again .

I have had better experience with Shawn (NFA Moving) at 647-347-1331 . At 60/hr , the guy is a professional , does his job with a smile and has an equally good helper . Proper communication as well as peace of mind .

I could not reach Alex day before yday (he also quoted 50/hr..worth a try ) but Viggy has recommended him . So we have 3 movers recommended tried and tested by CDS . Guys --post in your experience also .
