Finished Residency, living in US before Oath

Hi my friend have finished his residency requirement in sep 2007. Went for interview and everything was fine. they had called for Oath twice and both the time he missed it because of his family medical emergency. He is from windsor. Since they is no Judge in windsor, his oath is in line for more than 5 months now.

In the mean time he left canada for his job in michigan, US. Is there anyway he can change his file from windsor to detroit consulate to take oath?

No!! he will have to travel to Canada. Also make sure he has mail forwarding from his Canada address to USa address because all correspondence will be sent to Canada address.
