I am a novice when it comes to computers. I am seriously thinking to become a blogger. My first qn is, how to blog? Where do I start, how and where to create a blog?

Any advice much appreciated.

I saw this post in science and technology and was a little puzzled. I guess it fringes on tech for those who are tech challenged. But if you can post to the canadian desi forum, you can blog.

One thing you need to know, blogging is about content. Everyone thinks they can blog and they do...but they are just pathetic bits and bytes with no audience and the most uninteresting drab of an article. So, before you blog, ask yourself:

What am I blogging about?
Who am I blogging for?
What would interest anyone to read my blog?

Thx for the response. This is what I want to post on the blog:

1. Travel diaries so that others can benefit if they want to visit those places (I am a travel buff).
2. Serious discussions abt cricket, state and national level politics (India), bollywod movies, short stories, current affairs and situation in India, etc.

Those seems to be nice subjects for a blog..don't get demotivated by other's comments..blogging is a way of expressing your self..very much like writing a diary..you do it for yourself rather than thinking about whether others will read your blog or not..
there are 2 blogging sites very popular among bloggers..blogspot and wordpress..blogspot is more user friendly..
