Hey guy I came for an help and if it makes you senti pls. don't reply to my thread only why taking so much pain for yourself...
Becoz here all are coming with their questions and confusion not to make fools to ownself or others.
So pls. keep your self away if it is so....
Thanks a lot for giving me support and I thought this thread is a desi so it will really help me out to find out my way but here I found that all criticizes to others instead of helping so thanks for your such kind of support...

Cool it! Noboby is trying to critize you without reason here. This is a useful/helpful website and threads about jobs and settling has been most discussed on this website.
You can start off with govt. run Emplyment resource centres or private employment agencies. You must have a potential resume. Many such resource centres forward you to classes teaching job search skills and language skills.
As suggested by chekram you can start volunteering too.
Give it a good search and this website is always there for your questions.
And Welcome to Canada!!
Shriya.

you may be someone to the world but for someone you are the world.
I think both of you maybe in somewhat difficult areas, so to say... to start working right away in your areas of expertise. The problem is both accounting and engineering areas require certification from the Canadian Agencies to work. I hope you will have it easy but be prepared to return to classroom and possibly take some courses to update skills and get the relevant certification to work in your areas of expertise. Don't you wish you were a materials scientist like me? You could walk into a job without further questions about the relevance of your previous training! I don't see why some people seem to be offended by your reference to Gujjus. I see it all the time around here, and before that in middle east, Africa, Europe and the US that desis readily and quickly fall back to folks from their own State or caste for help. You have to be truly Global in nature, like me, to never refer to the little area you were born in or the caste or religion...
Well welcome to Canada... You have the right to expect more.... Or else you probably won't be making all that effort to move to here.
