Hello All,

I wish to change the First name of my three and half year old child, He already has his SIN card, passport and Birth documents........and will be starting preschool this September. If anyone has the experience of changing name or has any information about the procedure .......Please share

I changed my last name and it was a painful procedure.. I think it is the same for first name also... Go to their office at Bay Street ( opp Hotel Sutton Place ) and then the process starts .. It took 7 months fr me to get my name change certificate and cost 250 Dollars..
