Instead of opening business any investment, in mutual funds, or any other funds, in Canadian banks is acceptable to fulfill the residency conditions?
Any exemption request to Immigration, due to health disability, will be acceptable to them?

Business class immigration has three sub-classes. Yours sounds like the "business class" visa which requires establishing a business in Canada. As you can see the objective is not only to invest funds but actually start a business and employ a one full-time employee for a period of one year.
Extentions are given with a valid reason and at the discretion of the immigration officer. Exemptions are unheard of.
