Hi! This may look familier to you but I am new here.

I am on student visa and would like to call my wife as a dependant from India.Please note that I came here just before a month.

What is the safe/best way ? What all documents she needs to put in to the file ?

try to go through the Student visa section. There are many discussions happened in the past..

Thanks jigz. I broused the student visa section but could not find the specific information I am looking for.

I would like to know that my wife has to apply directly for work permit from India? or She has has to apply for visitor visa and then after coming here open work permit.

Howmuch time it takes to get open work permit here after she comes here.

I have only one year study permit.This is my second month going on in Canada.I am in private college too.
DOES IT AFFECT TO GET VISA TO MY WIFE? IS THIS THE RIGHT TIME FOR MY WIFE TO APPLY FOR VISITOR VISA OR SHE HAS TO STILL WAIT?

I have enough points for immigration. I am thinking to apply for immigration after she comes here. IS THIS THE RIGHT DECISION?

I have seen you have advised most of the people, I really appreciate person like you who is really helpful to ppl like me.
