Are there any offers available for only SIM card rentals for short period?

They can use prepaid rogers. Right now rogers is offering a very good deal 1 cent per mt for night and wknds.

I know of one store on dundas # 416 231 0900 they do rogers activation.

I spoke to this person. SIM card can be bought at $25.00 only from this shop. Then it is pay-as-you-go program.

I'm probably too late but one can buy the simm card from places like ebay for much cheaper. e.g: a fido sim card which costs 25$ can be got for as less as 10$. I've activated 2 phones(one a triband from dubai) via sim cards purchased in this way. Then pay as you go.

Also, depending on when you need the SIM (immediately or can wait for a week), if you search on ebay for 'FIDO SIM PAY-AS-YOU-GO', you should get good deals. Ive previously bought

1. Rogers SIM + $100 value (valid for 1 year) + activation + shipping for $35. It took a week to arrive.
2. FIDO SIM + $70 value + activation + shipping for $26, again a week to arrive

Keep in mind the fone from India should be a tri-band or a quad-band. Dual-band fones from India WILL NOT work in NA, even if they're unlocked.

I just got the SIM from above Dundas/ 427 shop. Paid $25.00 plus $10 card from Rogers. I was in a rush and wanted it for a friend who is arriving tonight.
