Please post advertisements in classifieds

It is better to go with a Canadian Insurance company. This way, you can get refunds much faster. Also, it is much easier for a Canadian company to set up direct billing and arrange medical treatment. In this case you don't have to pay anything out of your pocket which is very convenient.

If you buy insurance outside Canada, the process of getting your money back may be quite complicated and it would take a lot more time.

I find it curious to see that the third message in this thread added a link to a VTC provider (which acts like an advertisement), and then offered very little useful information in their post. Except, then they added in a couple other (advertisement) links afterwards, with no real purpose at all. And none of this was deleted.

I added a contribution way back in the early days of this thread and put in a useful link to a VTC Price Comparison website along with appropriate (useful) info for readers. You kept all the useful info that I got from the link i posted, but the link I used was deemed to be 'commercial' (?) when the one in the third post from the 'Senior Desi' was not?

I linked to BestQuote Insurance. Google it to see if they are offensive?

What gives?
