I have a possible job opportunity coming up in downtown Toronto (King street).

I am thinking of taking an apartment in oakville or burlington and use the GO transit to commute. Let me know the pros and cons of both.

I am looking for something close to transit . What are the rents, travel times ,localities etc. btw, I have a 2 yr old kid and like the place to be family friendly

Burlington to Downtown Toronto is about 30 mins drive if traffic is not bad...otherwise it can be bad.

GO train is a good option.

You can get a decent apt in downtown TO. I personally would try to find a good apt in the High Park Area (family oriented) and take the subway to downtown (20 mins each way)
