Dear Immigration Experts and desi friends,
I am in the process of preparing permanent residency application for my parents. My question is can I include my 21 year old sister in the application who is studying at present and dependent on my parents?
My salary is 55000 dollars per annum.
She meets the definition of dependant child as mentioned on the following link on cic website

I have heard from some non-authentic sources that one can sponsor brother or sister (under 22) along with parents but I cannot see it in the section
"Whom can you sponsor using this application package?"
on the above link.

Yup. That's you answer.
The age limit is flexible if your borther or sister is a fulltime student.

U can sponsor ur sister since she is full time sudent but question will she be a full time student for next 4-5 years. bcz this is the time taken for immig visa in family class

That is exactly what I am thinking.
According to the cic website, sponsorship application is taking 26 -28 months.
I am not sure how accurate it is. But 4 to 5 years is too long. My parents are getting desperate to see their grandchildren..oooffff!
