Hi to all!

I applied sponsor ship application for my wife on Dec 12th 2005

Approval for Sponsorship application Jan 13th 2006
File Transfer to Delhi Office Jan 14th 2006
Delhi Office started Processing on Jan 24th 2006

Passport requirement letter Feb 13th 2006

My wife Sent her passport on the same day by Speed post on Feb 13th 2006 and also with Preposted Speed post cover.

Do any one know How Long Delhi office takes for the Passport stamping is ther any ways she can go to Delhi office in person and pick up the passport...Its already been 20 dys and no reply from them.....Any one have recent exeperience regarding this? Pls share...

It should come anytime. I was reading the previous posts on CD, people got in 2 weeks time.

Guys ,

I have to follow this process for my wife in near future . I have the following doubts :

1. Does the CHC , India call the souse for Interview compulsorily or at discretion.

2. What documents do they require to b submitted as proof of relationship besides marriage certificate and when are these to be submitted .

My wife's application is "in Process" status. She haven't received her passport request. It'll be great if you can post your timeline after your wife got her visa stamp(ie the timeline from the passport request to passport stamp).
Thanks a lot for your reply . Let's hope for the best. I thought Delhi is bit fast.

Hi,
My spouse sent his passport in on Jan 2, and he just received it back yesterday, So it can take 2 - 3 months at the most. Hope that helps.
