Read the fine print.....
...provided the Liberals win the elections. That too it will take a few years to completely scrap it. When they introduced the Landing Fee, it just took them a few moments.....

The Tories have also come on board with a similar promise! According to their plan, it will be halved immediately and reduce to about $100 over 5 years. The NDP have apparently always been in favour of it.
I have my doubts it will actually happen, but that's another matter altogether.
So with this promise, how would it affect the present citizens who have to vote?
I wish they could make it like this........."Those who vote for us will get a refund of their landing fee" That way we will atleast get something for voting!

That's a good one...some incentive to go out and vote. I'm all for it.
