I'm an international student. I've worked in various positions over 3 years (for cash). Worked at a Coffee Time, then did Telemarketing for various companies, worked as a Head waiter/floor manager at a fine-dining mediterranean restaurant for 1.5 yrs in downtown. Handled Marketing startegies for the restaurant, with a little bit of promotions, PR, customer feedback, etc.

I'm also well proficient with computers. Not a lot of programming, but troubleshooting, setting up, helpdesk, etc.

Also a brief 3 month stint at an Ad agency as Office Assistant. Helping people do some of their routine jobs, etc.


Now, I've recently quit the job I had (The restaurant).. and I'm looking for another job. Whatever you see as fit to provide me, we can negotiate.

With so many jobs did you ever got time to study?
My advice would be that you apply for Canadian PR ( In case you haven't)
With Canadian education+ PR combined with your marketable skills you should be landing a career job with growth potential rather than dead end jobs.

Thanks for the concern goldeneye.
But you gotta remember all these jobs I'm talking about were on cash. Given to me by people who trusted me.

Applying to PR is something that I will eventually do. There's a few hurdles I need to cross, which I will in due course of time.

These cash jobs that I'm currently looking for are just going to help my get by. By career goals are far-fledged, and this job I'm looking for is not going to be a stepping stone to the career.

To make things a little understandable for you, I need 1 year of work experience here, under a work permit.. to earn the points to be able to apply for PR. :-)

PS: My program was for 2 years, first year for theoretical studies, and the 2nd year for thesis. I'm just prolonging my submission of the thesis to be able to live here till I get an oppurtunity for a work visa.
