I am International student out here and recently graduated from one of the college in Victoria from business program. So I have the opportunity to work for a year under post employment graduation without HRDC confirmation. It’s not like sponsorship too. Now the thing is I have 2 months (after graduation) to find a job related to by field from management area as I graduated in that program. so my first question is do have to just apply for jobs related to management or is it ok if I could find from other areas or field. Secondly, now there is one employer who wants to hire me and he is ready to give the job acceptance letter but the thing is he hasn’t mentioned for how long as most employers don’t state that so how am I am going to fill the Post-Employment Graduation form IMM1249E. Is it ok if I just write in the form that the work permit for a year coz that’s the right I have to claim for Post-Employment Graduation for work permit out in BC? Can someone please let me know about this? I would really appreciate...

Yes you can write down for a year,
Mind it , If you don't write anything , they will give you 6 months permit and you'll have to re-apply for it ( I mean extension) And again you'll have to pay visa fees. -- Thtz wat happaned with one of my frnd b4 6 months.

You can deal with you employer and request him to give the job-offer letter related to you field of study no matter your job is different.

oh thanks buddy u have answered most important query of mine. So now i will just mention 1 yr on the application form. But i can switch jobs once i have the permit right?? or i have just stick to one. even i have applied for my PR too so this will have me out in gettin more points? but anyways thanks again i was just tensed about this stuff but now after yr response i can take a breath. thanks

Yea AFAIK, You can switch jobs but you have to inform them before you do and they will send you a new work permit document.

I am not sure but I think you can get 2 yrs of work permit in BC or you can get 2 yrs work permit if your study was 2 yrs or more... Research in detail about that.
