Hi Thinkingone,
Appreciated your response. I did google and I know what's that. Might be my post sounds differently to you all. My mistake. Apoligize.
What I don't understand is what kind of degree/certificate do a person get after finishing the program.
For example: If I studied B.Com from Naranlala college,South Guj. Uni. at the end of B.Com, do I get degree from South Guj Univ? If yeah, then does it specify somewhere that I studied in Naranlala College which is affiliated to south gujarat university? Moreover their reputation in the market, etc, etc.
Looking for something this kind of information.
Say my spouse has studied from this college/univ. how much points I can get for her education?
Thanx for your time.
indianguy ji,
Degree certicate shows university name only, and not the college name. However, college leaving certificate has got both college name and university name.
Thus, B.Com i.e. Bachelor of Commerce degree is awarded by South Gujarat University, and that degree cert wont have any mention of Naranlala College there.
About reputation, I have no idea. But I guess, immigration department, and Canadian universities keep record of world-wide universities, to assist them in academic credentials evaluation. Not sure, if they will make that kind of information public though.
Regarding points, form just looks for 10, 12, diploma, bachelor's degree, master's degree, PhD, tech trade etc. and according to that, points are awarded. For points' assessement, university ranking doesnt play any role.
Regards.
