i have just arrived in toronto this feb.i have get admission in york college of industry and technology. but that college is not like i have been told by a agent in ahmedabad ,india. i have paid the fees of 12000 CAD to that college. now when i have talked about the refund to study in anothere college any community college, than college replied that you can not get the ful refund you just get the 4500 CAD form the 12000 CAD paid. On the acceptence letter it is written that students who get visa are not eligible for refund of international student fees(2500 CAD) and placement fees (4750 CAD) so is there any one who can guide us for that coz we four students are suffering. we have get the acceptence letter from one community college and looking for another community college. pls reply us

I know many of my friend gone through same situation as you and your friend.They even talk to Ministry of Education about that.But problem is as per rule student can get fees back other than Administration fees.If you check in your fees module they charge 3000 to 4000$ for Administration fees so you porbably would not get that amount refund.
It is best of my knowledge but its better to talk to Ministry of education and Canadian Career college assosiation about that.

my only concern is in my acceptence letter it is clearly written that some fees are non refundable like placement fees and international fees. i want to know that is there any contract between a student and a college. i haven't sign any document except the personal information form and attended two to three classes.do you have any information that can help meabout it . i have talked to ministry of education about it . but they are saying that u will get reply within three weeks from us if any thing under there power . so if ministry would not help me than is there any other option to it. pls let me know if you haveanything known to it.
