WANT TO KNOW HOW IS THE JOB SCENE FOR ANY B.TECH ENGINEER (ECE) FROM INDIA WHO DOES A MASTERS IN ENGINEERING (ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTING) FORM A CANADIAN UNIVERSITY...ANY AVERAGE UNIVERSITY (NOT UOFT/WATERLOO ETC).
IS IT BETTER THAN DOING COLLEGE PROGRAMS WHICH ARE WIRELESS/NETWORKING DIPLOMAS (THE ONLY SUITABLE OPTION FOR ECE B. TECH GUYS).
THE PROGRAM IS MUCH EXPENSIVE AND NOT FUNDED AT ALL, SO WANT TO KNOW ITS SCOPE V.S THE COLLEGE COURSES.
PLEASE PROVIDE INPUTS.
THANKS.

Anyone who wants to study in Canada has to pay more than twice the fees paid by a Permanent Resident of Canada. Carry on reading....
Any college course you want to take depends upon the subjects studied and the marks and rankings you hold. They will not be sufficient to compete with the students that studied with in Canada with the same subjects. Could be enough to gain an entry.
Concordia University : The best in the Engineering, BUT it is in Montreal.

FINANCIAL Awards,

Most of these are for the Canadian Students, so, try to immigrate with your B.E., if you can OR find a suitable employment and then get in. That will set you back by a couple of years. Since you have allocated some funds to study, I am sure you have the same for Immigration purposes also. Hence the suggestion to get in as an immigrant. Also the fees charged will be the normal fees for you too. While working, at any job, try and obtain a P.Eng., Certification. See if you continue to have the same ambition after that, if so, continue with your studies.
IT IS MY OBSERVATION from experience, the number of years that you put in after P.Eng., will bring you more income, than from the post graduate studies and the expected returns after the studies.
Salary Expectations for Computer Engineers, in the U.S.A.,
Computer applications software engineers earned a median annual salary of $85,430 in 2008, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Computer systems software engineers made $92,430, and computer programmers earned $69,620, the BLS reported. CANADIAN INCOMES ARE a lot lesser from the ones across the border.
