Don't you think that ther is enough material on the site you have quoted and Canadiandesi.com to help you make a decision? Whjat else do you expect? When your question is not different from anyone else's on this forum, why should the answer be different for you?

Be aware that it is probable that most people who post on such sites are those who are struggling with job issues, particularly recent immigrants.

There are probably many more who are doing fairly well and are busy with their lives.

Moving to Canada is not a cakewalk. I feel many Canadiandesis would agree with me that after the first few years of struggle, one settles down and would not seriously consider leaving Canada.

I feel no one can advise you whether you should immigrate or not. Do do your own research, speak to people who have lived or worked in Canada, evaluate your life's priorities. India is certainly not a *bad* place to live in, but it has it's disadvantages. Canada too has it's disadvantages. Initial pain in adjusting to a new environment is one of them.

It also depend how much you are earning in your home town, and what are your expections. If you are earning well enoguh and doing good jobs, than you have to consider it seriously.

After pondering over this issue many a times, I feel, if a person is well settled in a place, earning handsome money and contended with, then there is NO need to move out to initiate a totally new struggle.

I am just a risk taker, and dont care much though ;)

Ask yourself why do u want to immigrate to Canada? If you think you have valid reason(s) then, do. I came to Canada as a student 18 years ago and I am very successful and I am very happy about my decision. It was not easy all the way! My best wishes to your future success.
