Hi
I would appreciate if somebody could answer this for me.
I have Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop.
I recently purchased a D-Link Wireless router, set it up etc. etc.
eveything is working fine. I am able to 'go wireless' and connect to the appropriate network.
My question is this:
Even when I have the ethernet cable plugged in, when I start up my computer, it automatically picks up the wireless connection/network. I do not want it to do this.
I want it to ask me before it connects to the available wireless network.
Right now if I want to NOT go wireless, I have to go to Networks in Control Panel and disable the wireless network. Only then it picks up the ethernet one.
Does anyone know if there are any options/etc. that I can turn on/off?
You need to go to "internet connection" ..... chose ethernet connection as default ..... But you will face the same problem .... whenever you'd want to go wireless you'll have to go back and change the primary connection.
Try this .... it will work...
