Right now i am staying in USA from last 1 year. I am planning to apply for canadian immigration. I need to get police certificate/clearane from USA and India. Could any one tell me the procedure to get certificates.

For FBI fingerprint you need to get FP on FBI card, For India you need PCC from Indian consulate in US
Also pls put your post which are generic on Genral section rather then Ask Imm expert section, you would get much faster response

Could you explain detail procedure to get police verification/clearance?
The process for FBI FP comes as part of the document posted on CIC website , for PCC, you need to go to IndianConsulate website and send documents and request to their office which is located in San Francisco and washington, maybe some other places as well

I am applying for immigration through Indian embassy. So i am planning to get PCC from India.
Could you please tell me, what are the compulsory documents which i should submit along with application and what are the documents which i can submit during processing of application. This helps to me to submit application with minimal and compulsory documents. Mean time, i will collect all time consuming documents and submit to embassy after getting those documens. for example. PCC, PC will take time to get from them.
