Load of B & C... How conveniently they ask the help of the Indian Govt. Its like what Om Puri said in Gupt..
"Jab kaleja lage phatne, toh khairaat lage batne"..
Mr Tarlochan Singh, the chairman of the National Minorities commission in India has rightly pointed out that India can't do much to help them... I wish more countries follow the example of France... (When in France, be a French )
Viva La France !

well said, but not many may in favour of whilst in france live like the french, or else back to homeland.
People would have to abide by laws of the adopted country.
It is always a different matter than the country of birth
Over 2 million jews and muslims are not making a fuss at all.
People will have to adapt to an adapted country- theres always the chances of these things happening.
And France cant be exactly put down as a squaher of rights- it would have some reason to do as this- they havent putting them on a plane bound for India for the protest.
I dont think you Guys understand what Human Right means
Just because you live in Canada do not forget your roots
Tomorrow if Canada says no Temples allowed and only churches- would you like it !!
After years of conflict , Temples came to UAE
Still there are no temples in Saudi Arabia
Still there are no temples in Kuwait etc
We know because we feel the pain.. and I am not a sikh ...
So dont call it crap and live the french way etc
You can change from name to Ben/Charles etc .. but that does not change us with-in. We will still have cultural ties, no matter how much you change your accent. Turban means a lot for sikhs and there is nothing wrong in standing up for your basic human rights.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
isnt this move by the French actually the oppposite of what they want to achieve..i.e separation of Religion and state.....If you are not bothered about religion why would you care what a person wears to govt school?
They are trying to pin down behaviour on one's attire. Whereas the reasons for a person behaving in a way is much much more than that.
Sorry, I dont support the Sikhs who are suing but the move the french govt is not right either....
