I've heard that Montreal traffic rules can be different from those in TO e.g. no right turn on red lights.

Just wondering, if some one could tell me what other traffic rules in Quebec are different from those in TO?

Oh, ok...mtl is an island afaik its only on the island that right turns on red light is disallowed.
The rest of Quebec driving rules are pretty much like in Ontario or south of the border. Hope this helps. Give a shout if you are lost here.

p.s Jake -- I thought island probably referred to a round about or a triangular filter for a right turn - and was trying to visualise why wouldn't a right be allowed! Sure am glad you clarified .

Jake is refering to the Montreal Island and not traffic island.

Montreal is an island in St. Lawrence river.
