I think it is not any one else's tool but NaMo's himself - as his manifesto's star studded promise .. had he not promised , no one would have questioned it .
No comments on the Adani connection as well as back seat driving of Delhi's public elected Govt as well the horse trading in Uttarakhand as attempted by BJP but corrected by the courts.

During Modi's visit to Switzerland there was a talk about Black Money and Swiss assurance to support it, and more importantly prevent it. That action can get us black money back is not that easy and could be a long path. However once implemented it could prevent culprits to just go ahead and deposit money there. They will have to go thru lot of scrutiny.
Now one can still argue that this is just a talk and no concrete action yet. Agree. Any action starts with a thought and an intention and when other parties are involve it requires a lot of negotiations. It has to go thru the due process.

If some one has to do something , they find ways to do it --- for other things they find excuses !!! Appears the black money initiative is going the latter way.
What I fail to understand is that how can NaMo take action of heavy black money of entrepreneurs (Ambanis & Adanis ) with whose sponsorship , he won the elections and to whom he is giving the favors back again by providing them heavy loan sanctions through the Banks whereas every one decries the fate of the farmers but they don't have access to similar funding or incentives...

And then the recent horse trading by BJP as witnessed in Uttranchal as well as the efforts to instate a parallel Govt in Delhi through the LG ~ These are just examples of dirty politics.
I think the title of the thread should be ' Modi completed 2 years of non fulfilment of election promises '

Some people are still pissed off. I guess you just have to curb your frustration for another 3 years as NDA has majority. When the next election comes, do try to voice your comments about non fulfillment of election promises. Till then, just enjoy the Modi wave...or keep harping about your disagreements. But the common people of India who didnt like Congress for their blatant minority appeasement and open scams doesnt care for one bit. Dont get me wrong, I dont hate minorities, I just dont like the way how Congress used the minority card. Just my opinion.
All issues, including Black Money and religiosity apart, I do have opinion that Modi Govt. is doing a great job on the Foreign Affairs front with signing new treaties and especially, cornering Pakistan diplomatically in their own yard - Iran, UAE, Afghanistan. Their (Pak) frustration shows. Build more trade routes to Europe by way of Middle East. It's the need of the hour.
