The whole 'MUST speak local language' demand is flawed on various counts. Let me show you how:
Even though there's an ethical/moral (questionable) demand of 'Speak local language', it's not practically possible. What practically possible is to use the local language where the vendors, shopkeepers, public employees CAN NOT speak English and/or Hindi. For those places, it is a practical demand to speak the local language. This is because you can't get your work done had it not for the local language. However, if I am walking on the street or at home talking to my family, friends, or the people who could speak Hindi and/or English then I shouldn't be obliged/forced to speak local language.
It should be an individual's prerogative to speak in whatever language their work gets done or they are comfortable with. India is a democracy for God's sake. Individuals must speak and/or learn local languages out of respect for the language and not because someone is asking or forcing you to.
Just like in Canada or Western countries, where the official language is English. I can't speak Hindi at work, so I speak English. However, no-one in Canada could force me to speak in English if I am walking down the street or at home talking to my family/friends. When you try to force it, you lose all reasoning however ethical it may be.
Vandemataram: How does someone's private life affect their public acts/opinions? So, just because someone is a bad husband, he doesn't have any opinion on politics/sports/current-affairs?

I don't know why people listen to this old lady who will flaunt all social rules/laws and ethics in her private life and attack someone who is doing something good.

I am ready to do anything as long as my bank balance gets bigger and bigger.
There is only one word that comes to my mind for a person who will do anything for money. And I better not use it on this forum
Na ghar ka na ghaat ka.
What's wrong for becoming BRAND Ambassador for Gujarat & Kerala ?
I guess he is not doing for MONEY !
