NaMo's passion for seeing us as a great nation is actually the reason for whatever success achieved by him and his team of ministers.

Unlike the sycophants of the Nehru-Gandhi family of the UPA, Modi has surrounded himself with a great team. Rajnath Singh, Gadkari, Parikkar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nirmala Seetharaman, Piyush Goel, Suresh Prabhu and others share the same passion as Modi. They are also seen to be 100% behind Modi for running a scam-free government. One eminent name missing in the above list may be the reason for the economy not picking up to expected levels.

May God give NaMo the physical and mental strength and good luck to take our nation to great heights.

Please highlight 3-4 major achievements without any rhetoric. No scam ( I disagree and can count many) is not an achievement. This shows rotten mentality of an Indian today. We think having no scam is a development and big achievement !
Which of the election agenda point is fulfilled ? Leave points like black money , swachch bharat and achchey din. We know the fate of these agenda points.

Please highlight cost-benefit analysis of all the Modi foreign visits. Where is transparency on future growth ? Basically Govt. is not confident to commit anything. right ?

Please comment on increase in farmer suicide under BJP rule. A glaring example of mis-management and underlying corruption.

Maybe you can start by highlighting major achievements of past Congress govts. While you are at it, please explain which of their election agenda points were achieved.

Why is there a sudden urge to make govt accountable? Modi jis govt is doing well and will continue for many years to come. I am really happy with the progress and also happy with the fact that there are no scams.

Not sure who is happy. Farmers form 25% of the Indian workforce , not happy. Muslims are 34%, cannot say with confidence if they are happy with ghar wapsi, beef bans. Job creation sector is all time low. Youth not happy (seen in Bihar , Delhi elections). Inflation and increase in prices is making middle to low class mass cringe everyday.
Do we see mentionable difference in hospitals , railway stations, junctions, roads, public toilets or is there even a hint that it will improve ? Without it how do you measure India is moving towards being a developed country under Modi rule ?
If benchmark is that if bhakts are happy , govt is doing fine, then I agree Modi govt did a fantastic job in last 2 years.

Anyways I do not want to be unreasonable as its about governance in a big slow moving country, so patience is the key but for sure bjp govt though has started number of schemes ( which UPA also did in term1) has failed to put an impact where sabka saath sabka vikas sounds possible.

Reading the posts and seeing a few names mentioned in them, what I find is that the Financial Sector has not done well. The main indicator being the Value of the Rupee to U.S.Dollar has gone to 68.9 per Dollar or Downward since Modi taking over.

The tourist Industry has tripled in the past few years and the Visa on arrival has generated a lot of visitors and has brought in a lot of tourist traffic and has created an increased demand on the railways and local transportation. UBER and OLA has made it a lot easier for everyone.

The rest of the Industries Automotive, Entertainment and Electronics all are holding their own. Needs more money for research and Electrification of the vehicles to get India off the Motorized Autos Fueled by hydro carbons.

As mentioned, the heat and the drought has caused a lot of disruptions and the AGRI based industries have fallen back. The farmers have taken a beating and the economy is slowly grinding its way down, unless they see a great rainy monsoon to close the Summer early and cool everything down and help the farmers gain some momentum and help them get out of their crop failures.

I feel that the solar power and the Bore-well water supply might have helped a lot. Sitting 10,000 miles away, how ingenious the locals are needs a scrutiny. Everything takes time and may be next year the Farmers will do better.

IT- Industry seems to have done well and the educational side is also chugging along fine.

I was also looking at some of the foods that the eateries are putting out as treats. I guess every point of the compass will come out with their teasers for the taste buds. More on it if time permits. But that industry will chug along fine.

These are my observations which is worth 10 cents now. (Two Bits)

Great !! Much Appreciated for posting the below !!

Well, if Modi throws stone at every Dog that barks along his way - then he can never become Modi and realize his dream of a Powerful India. Something along the line that Winston Churchill once said long time back.

===============
My close family member is a key member in PMO . Let's call him Mr A for simplicity
So Mr. A had retired in Feb 2014 and he was happily spending his time with the family. He has spent almost all his career with Congress Govt. In his daughters wedding all the array of Congress leaders had come. Kapil Sibal and Ashwini Kumar are his family friends
Now in May 2014 after Modi took over he looked at officers and did a big reshuffle. He still had major gaps to fill. So he recalled 7 officers who had retired recently based on their excellent track record.
Mr A was one of them. He was not too keen as he had post-retirement plans. However to cut the chase he was finally convinced for a year...,
He is not a fan of BJP and Modi
Then began the mad drill. Life turned upside down. Even on Holi and Diwali days he and the entire team is with Modi. On Diwali day he came home 11 in the night. Last week he agreed to extend his contract by another year.
He said in last 44 years in Govt he has never worked so hard and so much.
He was recently telling me that he is worried the way Modi is working he may be harming his own health
Apparently many times he skips regular meals to accommodate some requests.
He is working avg 18-20 hours a day!
When I asked him why doesn't he respond to allegations against him. He laughed and said he has reached state of self actualisation. Every meeting they have, he runs through it for 30 mins and than he always ask the same question to everyone in every meeting ' What more can we do to make India better' 24x7 he is on the over drive working on it.
Mr A said a recent example where they finished a meeting at 12 in the midnight and as they were walking out there were 3 groups of people waiting for him.
Coincidentally he had meeting on another topic at 8am in the morning the very next day. When they were walking in at 8am, the 3rd group from previous night was walking out.
And later he came to know from his secy that PM hasn't slept for 36 hours !
And this is when it is business as usual and not national emergency..
Mr. A says he does not know whether Modi's health will survive this self inflicted tough schedule or if he will even win the next election
However he is clear of one thing... In this 5 years he will leave a lasting legacy...

*** MEANWHILE KEJRU IS BUSY ON TWITTER TO POST LATEST MOVIE REVIEW ....
