Yeah, right! But, they still lost terribly. I mean, terribly.

Here's an apt 'Open Letter' from a BJP loyalist to Modi. This objectively described what went wrong for BJP in Delhi.

Objectively, because I am not mud slinging and attacking BJP. Rather, the facts as to why it lost so bad that even being an AAP supporter I couldn't have imagined this total decimation for the party that up until recently was showing a 'wave' elsewhere:

http://www.firstpost.com/delhi/why-i-didnt-vote-for-bjp-open-letter-from-loyalist-to-modi-and-shah-2091061.html

Time for introspection for BJP and the ground action from AAP.

Now, even if BJPians still take solace at the intact vote share, then good for them. Something for them to feel happy about.

My bone of contention is this: Be Nationalist, but don't bring religion into Public office or Govt. affairs.

Case is rested, for now.

Like everyone getting wise in hind sight , apart from the popularity of AAP, the appointment of a retired person belonging to the police department, that too of an IPS rank scared the real Aam Admi that they literally ran away from BJP. We all know how much people in the lower rungs are harasssed by the police.

As Blue Peafowl has suggested , AAP has an uphill task ahead with BJP being at the Centre. Lets hope that Arvind Kejariwal is able to acheieve what he has promised / aspired .

Lesser prportions of corruption , better law & order , women safety , a better infrastructure are some basic things Delhi citizens deserve.

Of all the things , Delhi Police being brought under Delhi municipality would be a bone of contention as that is a pie no Centre Govt. would wish to let go .... I hope some arrangement can be made.

What is appreciative of AK is that he stands for his promises and does things for the masses unlike other politicians / political parties who are hand in glove with businessmen & bueracrats and together they discard the masses like disposables.

I am hopeful AAP & AK can lead by example for other states to follow. This will improve the political environment of the whole nation.

At the same time BJP and NaMo should take strict note of this defeat which was like Kobani for them ... with BJP thrusting its full power behind this election and facing a face less rout , I think they need to start delivering ahead of upcoming elections.

BJP or AAP ... who ever performs and does good , is appreciated.

100% Agree.

I hope Kejriwal will do real work and not Khujli every now and then to be on the national television!
