My PR Card expired in 2008. As I was a full time student outside Canada, I couldn't satisfy the residency requirements.
My current situation is:
a) I am now employed in Doha - Qatar as a Doctor
b) I have a eight months old son
c) my husband is in UAE. He never been in Canada before nor does he have a PR Card before
Now, I along with my husband and our eight months old son wish to visit my sister in Canada (she is holding a Canadian Passport and is on full-time employment as Aerospace Engineer).
Kindly advise the procedure how to obtain a visit visa.
Apply for visit visa. Get an invitation letter from your sister, show the proof of funds to meet the expenses and proof that you will be going back ...... You will get the visa. No problem.

But I understand we have to cancel the PR Card first.
