Even if you are staying in USA and working there, you can still maintain your Canadian residency - PR Card , by visiting Canadian every 6 mths or less.

spend some time, here maybe 2 weeks and then go back there again.

thanks.

I am sorry but this is bad advice.
You are supposed to declare all of your absences from Canada when applying for a return travel document or citizenship.
If you aadopt the suggested strategy, you will have to keep track of all your days spent in and outside Canada.
If you don't declare it, you will be lying.

Keep in mind that if this discrepancy is noticed even years later, they can revoke your citizenship because it will be deemed to have been obtained by fraud.

It is best to stick with CIC guidelines for maintaining residency.

If you think the job in the US is indeed good for you, then make up your mind and move there.

Hello netb2b:
Care to give some more details on how u managed the H1B?? I too am interested in moving south. Can you give some leads? Where do I get these H1B sponsors? Do they offer permanent employment or is it just contract with uncertainty?
Thanks in advance.
