Hi ,
My daughter got engaged last year in India, subsequently, we had her marriage registered, in India, she returned back to canada, to fulfil her employment commitments.
She is intending to join her husband in Dec, 2011.
Before that she wants her husband to visit us in Canada, and have a look at the life here.

Her husband when applied for visitors visa from India are rejected twice by the consulate.

Is there any procedure which we can do here to obtain the visitors visa for my son in Law?

Please guide me to some concrete actions on our part to be done to enable him to visit us here .
Thanks for your time and advise .

It would be close to impossible to get him a visitor's visa. She would have to sponsor him for a PR.

MPs cant do anything in this case,

If the CIC knows someone is engaged and wants to come for visit they will reject it because ppl in such cases dont return to their home country.

Most ppl get around by not telling the truth.

In this case, he is married. Therefore, covering up the marital status on the visa application form will only cause more problems. Logically, CIC would like her to sponsor him for a PR as a spouse and be done with it. Hence the "logic" of visit visa rejection.

Hi Dimple,
In this case my son in law is not inclined to stay here , and is only visiting us before my daughter joins him in India by the end of the year ,
Is there no way we can convince the consular office or assure them of our integrity of our intentions?

My daughter also has her confirmed one way ticket booked for the month of December for India, and this ticket has been booked way back in march before my son in law applied for his visa to visit us.

I do have my elder daughter married last year in India and is staying there since then.
Her husband too is not inclined to be here.

I realize it is frustrating; however, you SIL's visa was rejected twice. Did you present all the documents/tickets/etc during those 2 times?

If your SIL is employed in India, can he provide an affirmation from his employer that he would return to work?

Is he planning on visiting for several months or few weeks? A visit for few weeks would look more legitimate than several months (which may appear as if he intends to stay back in Can).

Your daughter may be allowed inside the Cdn consulate along with your SIL. Maybe she can explain??

Can your daughter provide evidence she is leaving her employment in Canada (besides the one way ticket to India)?

Can she provide evidence she is wrapping up her stuff in Canada and relocating to India "permanently"?

The above are few options I can think of to substantiate your SIL's visa application.

Good luck.
